The following document contains names of individuals and companies who borrowed money from a branch of Development Bank of Ethiopia located in Western Ethiopia for the purpose of investment on farm land development. We have redacted some information to protect our sources. The data shows how much money has been borrowed, by whom and where the supported farm land is located. With exception of few cases, most of the land is taken from Gambella. The document is yet another concrete evidence for magnitude of land theft and which segment of the society is been given both the money and the land. Note that, the Development Bank is owned by the federal government, the same entity charged with giving away land. Also note that this data is just from one branch of the bank. ( We leave the responsibility of guessing ethnic background of the beneficiary to the reader. This can easily be done by looking at names).
